ABOUT US

Blackhall Woodworks is a collaborative effort of two brothers, Matt and Josh Bender who grew up on Blackhall Drive in Saint Louis, Missouri. 
 

Matt is an Art Director with a passion for furniture design while Josh is a licensed Architect focused on designing every detail.

 

Growing up together we spent our time exploring creeks, climbing trees, and building forts. We got into a lot of fights with each other, but after a while, we learned to get along — it just may have taken 20+ years. 

 

Fast forward to after one our many "Bro Downs," we choose to put our time together to good use. Our goal is to make handcrafted furniture of outstanding quality with natural materials and simple forms that are eye-catching at the same time.
